Nicholas - the Later Years . . .

After high school graduation, Nick (outgrew Nicholas) took some automotive courses at Skyline Junior College while working at a tire shop followed by a job at an auto dealership. As time went by, he decided that this wasn't for him.  He had  worked part time in the family janitorial business through high school, and with Dad's encouragement he decided to try it full time.  While working with Custom Maintenance, Nick still had bigger dreams and was searching for the way to make his mark in the world.

During these years of exploring career opportunities, Nick married his high school girl friend in 2004. Opportunities in the real estate market led them to leave the Bay Area for Reno Nevada. They bought a home and soon after, a little Dachshund named Minnie.

​

Nick  and his good friend, Bill, got into the real estate market but the Nations economy would not support that venture.  Searching for a way to support his family, the chance came along to buy a small bounce house business.  And with his janitorial experience, he also purchased a small Jani King franchise.  Little did he know that  this small bounce house business would eventually be a virtual gold mine. In December of 2007, Nick and Melissa gave us our 1st grandchild, Tatiana. She was such a cute little baby. We loved her at first site. While we were learning to enjoy Grandparenthood with Tatiana, unfortunately, Nick and Melissa seperated and eventually divorced.

​

Nick continued to grow his bounce house and janitorial businesses while taking care of Tatiana and Minnie. In 2011 he met Rachel. They dated and in 2014 got married. Rachel, a school teacher, is a wonderful addition to our family and a loving step mom to Tatiana. Check out their wedding website (by clicking the hearts) for their whole story.

In 2015, Nick & Rachel gave us our second grandchild, Logan.
